This past month I became a product junkie and bought lots of shampoos for my hair: a clarifying shampoo (hated it!), Organix tea tree mint (LOVE IT!!), Dr. Bronner's peppermint bar (love it!!!) and Dr.Bronner's Tea Tree liquid soap (I didn't like it as much as I like the peppermint bar). Now that I am back to working out regularly *yay, go me* I pretty much rinse my hair daily and shampoo whenever I like (like 4x a week)
Anywho, here are pics of my hair @ four months (click images for close ups) :
It's filling in nicely back there!!
Healthy roots & dark red tips (idk how that happened)
Texture close up
Fun colors (I have not dyed my hair, this is from my previous coloring b4 I loc'd my hair)
I now twist the top and latch the rest
Cute curly ends
I'm loving the locs girly!
ReplyDeleteYour hair looks gorge!!! Call me when you get a moment. I took your number down wrong.
ReplyDeleteI love your hair. I've seen you post on Nappturality. I ordered LUSH Big shampoo, and yes ekkk...it cost 30.00 because there isn't a store in my area that carries LUSH so I had to order from the store on-line. Your locs look fab.
ReplyDeleteThanks fab ladies!!!
ReplyDeleteTonniebrown - I am LOVING my hair! I'm so glad I finally got started! :-)
Calimama - thanks for dropping by! Do you have a blog too??
Yes, but I've yet to post pictures.... I have a fotki under the name calimama, but I need to update my fotki also..I need to get on the ball. It's nice to take pictures of your journey and look back and say wow I can't believe how much my locs have changed, I told myself I would do that but I'm lagging. Check out my Fotki if you get a chance it's under the name Calimama.
ReplyDeleteMy Lush BIg arrived yesterday and I washed my hair today, I luv it. Smells really good, and I can tell my locs feel a little tighter and cleaner. My locs seem to have a little more fluff to them too. I just wish it wasn't so expensive.
